Protecting Intellectual Property with Adams and Adams

As anyone in the business of creating will tell you, intellectual property is the basis of innovation. Intellectual Property (IP), tangible or otherwise, is a valuable asset to any individual or organization. Protecting Intellectual Property rights, however, is often a grey area where many creatives lack the knowledge and know-how to protect themselves.

To provide much needed clarity on the subject, the Better Living Challenge invited our legal partners, Adams and Adams, to shed some light on exactly what IP is, and the various ways in which people can protect their creativity. This month Adams and Adams will be hosting a presentation on the various IP rights relevant to designers and innovators at the Cape Craft and Design Institute (CCDI).
