Interior Design student Nicky van den Aardweg’s My Tova is a multi-functional backpack, designed for primary school children, which opens into a padded stool and a hard board for writing.

UCT architecture student Alex Frehse’s H2Go adapts an old tire into a device used for transporting water-  over 25 litres at a time!

Dave Pons is a Master’s student at the Mangosuthu University of Technology. His solution, Ceiling in a Can (CiC), is a simple, affordable DIY insulation kit that is also fire retardant
