These Exhibitors are building a green SA one brick at a time!


Vusumzi Mahlatshana’s Prickly Pear Brick is made from the fruit of the Opuntia cactus, otherwise known as the Prickly Pear. Prickly pear plants are locally grown and provide renewable materials.

Nu Blox by Leslay Rahme, Marina Bucher, Jacqui Morris and Waseefa are light-weight bricks made from recycled plastic. They fit together, like Lego, to build strong and durable walls.
